Labor Day Winner :)
So for those who have not already heard the news... I was the lucky one on Labor Day. The local radio station had a contest and I was a finalist to win a convertible. The game was to randomly choose a CD out of a bucket and play it on the stereo in the car and it would either play a "loser" message or the "winner" message. And guess which message I heard...

August Vacation
I'm trying to play catch up with all of our photos...This was during our trip to Colorado in August to celebrate Gordon and Shirley's anniversary (James parents).
This is our stop on the way to Durango, CO at the Four Corners (where Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Colorado meet). AJ is in all 4 states!

It's Basketball Season...
Update on Haley
We went back for Haley's follow up and everything they tested for has come back negative. The only thing they can see is "chronic" inflammation from the tissue samples they took from her knee. This still points in the direction of arthritis. We will go see the specialist in a couple of weeks. She has been doing great walking- not much of a limp. Hopefully she will just grow out of whatever it is that was going on.

Good days and bad days...
You have to have bad days in order to appreciate the good ones, right? Haley has been limping for a few weeks and won't put much weight on her right leg. So far we've had blood tests, Xrays, and MRIs done that left us with no answers. The MRI showed fluid behind her knee and swollen lymph nodes indicating it could be an infection. Her white blood count was elevated so she was scheduled for surgery last week to "irrigate" her knee. During the surgery they also tested the fluid and did a biopsy of the tissue. We are still waiting for the results but the doctor seems to think it is probably juvenile rheumatiod arthritis. We will know more as the test results come back and we will also be seeing a pediatric arthritis specialist in July (she only comes to town twice a month). Two days after the surgery, Haley was up bouncing around. Today she is actually walking just as well (if not better) than before her surgery.
Pool time!
We now live on the golf course!
AJ's Soccer Season comes to an end...
